A couple of years ago I came up with the concept for Opulence Oasis Co. and slowly began bringing my idea to life. In a nutshell, Opulence Oasis Co. is an exclusive provider of ultra-luxury travel, real estate, and personalized concierge services in Africa’s finest destinations. The vision is to build a curated luxury ecosystem that connects high-end clients, especially diaspora and international clientele, to exceptional stays, high-value properties, and deeply personalized services. I’ve put real time into shaping the brand, the direction, and the foundation, and now I’m ready to move from planning to execution. What drives me is the desire to create something that truly stands apart from other luxury providers in this space, something that feels rare, intentional, and unforgettable. I’m inspired by brands like Abercrombie & Kent and &Beyond, not just for what they offer but for how they make people feel, and I want to build something that reaches that level and goes even further in its own way some day.

A background in tech or tourism is a plus, but not at all required. What matters more is how you think, how you execute, and how you show up.
I’m not looking for a fancy degree (I actually don’t care where you went to college) or impressive credentials, just someone who will want this to succeed just as bad as I do, if not more.
I remember when I first started researching this, scrolling through Reddit late at night, trying to understand what I was getting myself into. And honestly, it discouraged me. I kept seeing the same thing over and over. That being a travel agent today is incredibly hard. That AI, Google, and endless booking platforms have made it feel almost unnecessary. That the market is already saturated with thousands of people offering the same thing. And then it hit me that what I’m trying to build is even harder. Luxury isn’t just about access, it’s about trust, relationships, detail, and a level of care that takes years to earn and even longer to perfect. It’s a slower path, a heavier lift, and there are no shortcuts to doing it right. I know this will take time, real time, and there’s a strong chance it won’t be profitable for a while. I’m fully aware of that, and I’m choosing to move forward anyway because I believe in what this can become. I’m willing to take that risk, to sit with the uncertainty, to keep building when it’s quiet and nothing is happening yet. I just hope to find someone who feels that same pull, who understands how hard this is going to be, and still chooses to step into it with me.
